I have always been an artist as long as I can remember. I started out drawing comics as a kid and went on to illustrations, music always playing in the background, which also arose a great passion that I still pursue still to this day. Then along came photography and the digital revolution. I quickly became immersed in the technical end
I have always been an artist as long as I can remember. I started out drawing comics as a kid and went on to illustrations, music always playing in the background, which also arose a great passion that I still pursue still to this day. Then along came photography and the digital revolution. I quickly became immersed in the technical end of a new era of visual communication and creation.
I picked up photography in my young twenties, a hobby that quickly became a passion, which led to my journey as a professional photographer. It's been two decades since I first bought that old Nikon F100 from an old high school buddy back in my early twenties. That day opened up a whole new world for me to explore. A whole new way to look at the world that's always been in front of me, but with a new lens, a new perspective and a new attitude towards the world and what I've always been looking at.
"Looking" evolved into "observing" which evolved further into "focusing". Suddenly as focus sharpened, new angles, corners and ultimately light and shadow revealed the hidden inspiration and beauty that lied everywhere one would look. Talk about inspiring!
When inspiration strikes we only have a few moments before it's gone, even if we are at the right place and the right time, seconds are crucial. So being able to "observe" and "focus" in the ebb and flow of the environment I find myself in while shooting photography has really made all the difference in my confidence on getting that amazing shot I'm after. I always aim to create sharp, special, timeless photography that inspires my clients and leaves them exited and satisfied with a professional photography experience from the first initial phone call down to the final exchange of their prints, hardcover albums or metal prints. I'm here to captivate and capture life one moment at a time!
Every moment is special.
Let us not forget to smile!
